As a response to the COVID-19 outbreak in Kenya, The Lawyers Hub in collaboration with the Africa Law Tech Association launched a Policy Hackathon in 5 countries to Co-create a COVID-19 Response Bill. With the help of our partners across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Nigeria, we aim to create five inclusive and innovative tailor-made bills for the said countries. This was inspired by the slow policy response by African Countries to create a policy or Bill to enable tax reproves, affordable internet, Ed-tech and Surveillance in this novel Covid19 pandemic.
